Adirondack Chairs Displayed Downtown Racine this Summer
This summer stroll through the sidewalks of Downtown Racine and check out this year’s public art event the Sunny & Chair Summer ’09 Tour. Displayed outside of shops and galleries, you’ll find a variety of one-of-a-kind red cedar Adirondack chairs handcrafted and uniquely decorated by talented local artists. Come admire these beautifully painted pieces of art and don’t be shy to kick back and relax in one of your favorites. Hurry on down, the chairs will only be on display through Labor Day. Following a fun-filled summer on display the chairs will be auctioned off to the highest bidder during Chair Today; Gone Tomorrow a public auction held at Memorial Hall, on Saturday, September 12. So, this summer don’t miss your chance to pull up a chair and create some memories in Downtown Racine.- July 4th: Racine Fourth Fest
